Introducing Member Exclusive Content

X362 is excited to introduce Member Exclusive Content.  This is a tool allowing communities to target (and limit) content to specific membership tiers.

How does it work?

As you create new content you can choose to allow each item of content to be available to your entire community (by default) or select for each item of content to be available to only specific membership tiers.  The default is set for content to be available to all membership tiers unless you otherwise specific.  If you select for this option you can select one or multiple membership tiers to have access to this item of content.

Why would we use this?

Many communities will have a free membership tier and a paid membership tier.  In models like this you may choose to allow 100% of your content to be available to your paying members while you only allow, for example, 50% of your content to be available to all of your members (paid and free).   This is an excellent way to create higher value for your content and your memberships.

Getting the Most out of a Group

How can I get the most out of this group?

Here are a few simple ways to optimize your group for success:

  • Assign a Leader - every group needs a leader or a guide.  That person is either you or someone who you assign but don't assume this is going to happen naturally.  You are the steward of your community and it's important that you delegate responsibility to others to run well with groups.  Ask your group leader to be intentional to post content, to read comments, and to keep people engaged.  Perhaps even ask them to come up with their own editorial calendar to drip new content.
  • Post Consistently - either you or the group leader need to be posting into groups consistently.  This is where your group participants begin to see value in a group.  Now, a group is build to connect people, it's a place to learn, and it's a place to have a voice but all of these need a catalyst.
  • Invite People In - don't assume people are going to stumble into your group... how often have you ever done that?  Invite people into your group and ask your group members to invite others in as well.
  • Begin Conversations - groups are about more than content and content distribution, they are a means to begin conversation.  You or the group leader can begin conversations here and so can the group members.  Be proactive to start some of these conversations.
  • Give Feedback - pay attention to when people create their own content and when they comment and make sure to comment back.  That just makes everyone feel honored and heard.
  • Promote via Channels - you have some amazing channels like your podcasts, events, webinars, weekly events or sermons, blog, general content, and much more.  Take advantage of each of these channels to either promote or launch a new group.  Never miss a chance to tell your community about groups that might interest them.

Event Drip Campaigns

Every event has it's own plan, schedule, objective, and other details but all events deserve a solid communication strategy.  You should consider a simple drip campaign around each of your events that begins months before the event and runs a few months post the event.  Think about the needs of your audience and speak to their needs and preparation steps.  Here are a few suggestions:

  • Pre Event (-90 day to event)
    • Registration split dates (when prices increase)
    • Highlighting speakers
    • Highlighting sessions
    • Highlighting exhibitors and sponsors
    • Last minute arrival details (weather, directions, etc.)
  • Event
    • Morning of event reminders / link to schedule
    • Potential eventing reflection questions
  • Post Event (+1 to +60)
    • Thanks for coming / link for survey
    • Highlight certain aspects of the community (content, neighborhoods, groups)
    • Next Events

What is X362?

X362 is a community engagement strategy enabled by a strategic technology platform.

What does that mean?!!

Everything we do is built around a strategic goal to build community around a shared vision… whatever that vision might be.  Think of it like this, what are the things you care enough about to put that bumper sticker on your car?  There’s identify found with things like our alma mater, sports teams, where we’re from, things we care about, our professional field, etc.  Community engagement strategy is a complex science but among this principles are the need to engage each individual as unique in their own personal story.

The technology platform behind X362 is built to mobilize your vision by mobilizing your people around your vision.  Your vision is what people connect with, it’s what they care about, it’s what draws them in… but how to we continue to keep them engaged in our vision?  This requires a strategy and this strategy requires a community to push that strategy forward.

Practically speaking, the models of X362 include:

  • Community Management
  • Organization Management
  • Member Management
  • Event Management
  • Content Management
  • Neighborhood Management
  • Groups Management
  • Volunteer Management
  • Email Management
  • And more

Collectively speaking, these modules are built on the strategic purpose of community engagement.  Properly used these modules help guide people, engage people, and assist to build a movement around a shared vision.

This is X362… the world’s first vision achievement platform.
